Excellent Scholarship, Clear Writing

This strong casebook provides a broad overview of the subject and does a great job of explaining the material, which can be difficult for the uninitiated (like me), while also laying out relevant advances in land use law and policy. The writing is clear, the scholarly references are not cumbersome, and there are nice illustrations along the way that are important for understanding some of the cases.
The reviewer who used this venue to complain about his or her copy's physical shortcomings, and not to speak about the content of the book itself, belongs to a class of people on this website who should be punished in some horrible way.
